Overview:

How To Set The Time On A Seiko Perpetual Calendar Watch

First, we’re going to get the time set correctly on your Seiko Perpetual Calendar. To do that pull the crown out into the second position and rotate the crown clockwise to turn the time forwards and rotate the crown anticlockwise to turn the time backwards. Make sure to set the time 1 to 2 minutes ahead of the current time, so you have enough time to get the 24-hour display set precisely as well.

How To Set The Time On A Seiko Perpetual calendar watch

To adjust the 24-hour display press the bottom button which will turn the 24-hour time in 1-minute increments. To make it turn faster, hold the button down. Press the crown in to complete setting the time.

How To Set The Day, Date And Year On A Seiko Perpetual Calendar Watch

With the crown pulled out into the second position, press the top button which will change the way into day setting mode. Press the bottom button to change to the current day.

Press the top button again to date setting mode. Press the bottom button to change the date in 1-day increments. The numbers 1 through 31 are set into the bezel insert.

Press the top button again to set the month. Press the bottom button, which will move the calendar hand through the numbers 1-12. I’m writing this in April so I would set mine to 4.

Press the top button one last time to set the year. Pressing the bottom button will cycle between 1 2 3 and 0. The last leap year was in 2020, I’m currently writing this in 2023 so I would set it to 3. To save the day, date, & year setting press the crown in.

How To Set An Alarm On A Seiko Perpetual Calendar Watch

To set an alarm on your Seiko Perpetual Calendar pull the crown out into the first position and you will see the hand in the day display move from the current day to the AL (alarm) position. You will then be able to set an alarm on the 24-hour display by moving the time forwards by pressing the top button and backwards by pressing the bottom button. Push the crown in to save the alarm.

If you would like to remove your alarm pull the crown out into the second position and then push the crown back in.
